The Engine was developed with a clear application in mind: providing functionalities that are not available, or would be difficult to achieve, with conventional monitoring equipment.

Some of the main features of this engine/library that make it unique:

  • Monitoring/Analyzing Engine for Digital TV (DVB ready, others supported)
  • Multiplatform Library (Linux/Windows)
  • Atomization of TS to access all required information for any need
  • Multiple sources (DVB-T/S/C, IP, ASI, File) since they are all connected as external modules to the Engine
  • New applications are easily developed for fast time to market requirements
  • Alarms are part of customizable module, so are completely flexible
  • Sources are connected seamlessly which makes new sources transparent to the Engine
  • Specially intended for monitoring networks
  • Low cost solution
  • Fully customizable for user defined applications

A great amount of monitoring applications can be developed using TSAR as monitoring/analyzing engine, but our off-the-shelf application , oXserver, is available to cover most common monitoring functionalities and accomplish a fast deployment of the monitoring solution.
